Retired 9/11 Cop Being Sued for Refusing to Pay $500K Fee

A former NYPD cop is being sued be a company who gave him an advance on a settlement he received for injuries sustained working 9/11 and ground zero. MICHAEL IP/FOR NEW YORK DAILY NES
Barasch & McGarry was sued this week for standing up to a lending company that is demanding 66% interest on a loan that it gave a disabled NYC police officer. Mike Barasch was quoted in the New York Post and the Daily News promising that the firm would fight to make sure that the firm’s client wasn’t victimized again.
